MLS: Real Salt Lake 4, D.C. United 0

SALT LAKE CITY, April 12 (UPI) -- Kyle Beckerman scored twice Saturday in leading Real Salt Lake to the most one-sided win in franchise history -- 4-0 over D.C. United.

Beckerman scored in the 12th minute by firing a shot from the top of the penalty area that beat Jose Carvallo, who made his first start of the season.

Fabian Espindola added a first-half goal and Beckerman scored again in the 78th minute.

It was the first win of the season for Salt Lake (1-1-1) while United fell to 1-2.
