HOUSTON, April 12 (UPI) -- Jeremy Hermida hit two of Florida's club-record six homers Friday, allowing the Marlins to out-slug Houston 10-6.
Florida won its fourth straight, with Jorge Cantu and Hanley Ramirez each contributing two-run blasts and Mike Jacobs and Mike Rabelo adding solo shots.
The long-ball display made a winner out of Ricky Nolasco (1-0), who gave up six runs on seven hits over five innings.
Roy Oswalt (0-3) survived just four innings, giving up eight runs on nine hits.
Houston has lost five out of six, with Oswalt's ERA mushrooming to 9.00 over his three starts.
Florida scored five times after two were out in the third to overcome a 3-0 deficit. After Alfredo Amezaga singled in a run, Hermida tied the game with a two-run homer. Jacobs then singled and Cantu put the Marlins in front for good with a mammoth homer to left.
