DENVER, April 10 (UPI) -- Ryan Spilborghs hammered a three-run homer among his three hits Wednesday, drove in five runs and scored three times to carry Colorado past Atlanta 12-6.

Colorado also got a three-run homer and four RBI from Yorvit Torrealba as part of its third straight victory.

Mark Redman (1-1) picked up the win, giving up three runs on seven hits in five innings. The Rockies will try for a four-game sweep of the Braves Thursday.

Chuck James (0-1) was touched for six runs on five hits in three innings. It was his season debut, having been activated from the 15-day disabled list Wednesday after suffering from soreness in his left shoulder.

Colorado took command with six runs in the third innings.

Matt Holliday delivered a two-run triple in the frame, Spilborghs drove in a run with a single, and Torrealba hit a two-out, three-run blast that gave the Rockies a 6-1 lead.
