KANSAS CITY, Mo., April 9 (UPI) -- Gambians Kenny Mansally and Sainey Nyassi scored late in the first half Wednesday, delivering New England a 3-1 win over Kansas City.

Nyassi broke a 1-1 tie in the 33rd minute when he took a pass from Khano Smith and sent the ball into an open net

Mansally added a goal when the ball came loose during a scramble in the box. He closed quickly on it and scored five minutes before halftime to give New England (2-1) a two-goal lead. It was Mansally's first MLS score.

Kansas City suffered its first loss in three games.
