NBA: Houston 105, LA Clippers 79

LOS ANGELES, April 7 (UPI) -- Houston, led by Aaron Brooks and Luis Scola, secured a playoff berth Sunday with a 105-79 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.

Brooks scored 18 points off the bench and Scola added 16.

Tracy McGrady had 13 points, eight rebounds and nine assists for the Rockets, who have won four games in a row.

Houston, with a record of 52-25, holds the No. 4 seed in the Western Conference.

Josh Powell was the top scorer for the Clippers with 22 points, the highest total of his NBA career.
