MLB: Florida 10, Washington 7

WASHINGTON, April 7 (UPI) -- Hanley Ramirez had three hits, including a three-run homer, and scored two runs Monday, pacing the Florida Marlins' 10-7 win over the Washington Nationals.

Dan Uggla also homered and had two RBI and Alfredo Amezaga had a two-RBI double for the Marlins, who have won three of their last four games.

Renyel Pinto (1-0) got the win with 2 2/3 innings of scoreless relief of starter Andrew Miller, who gave up six runs on eight hits in 3 1/3 innings.

Washington starter Tim Redding (1-1) gave up seven runs, but only one earned, on seven hits and two walks in four innings.

Cristian Guzman had three hits, including two triples, and three RBI for the Nationals. Lastings Milledge also had three RBI.
