
MIAMI, April 6 (UPI) -- Reserve Rodney Stuckey had 19 points, four assists and three steals Sunday to lead the Detroit Pistons past Miami 91-75.
The Pistons slowly expanded a 19-16 first quarter lead in a lackluster game, overcoming 13 turnovers with 50 percent shooting and forcing 11 Heat turnovers while limiting Miami to 35.2 percent shooting from the floor.
Tayshaun Prince scored 14 points with six rebounds. Jason Maxiell, Arron Afflalo, Juan Dixon and Jarvis Hayes all scored 10 points for the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference playoff race.
It was Detroit's fifth win in a row.
Earl Barron's 20 points and four rebounds led Miami. Chris Quinn scored 14 with seven rebounds and four assists.
Ricky Davis had 11 points and nine rebounds while Mark Blount scored 10 points in the Heat's seventh straight loss.
Miami had started the contest with a 9-2 lead.
