CARSON, Calif., April 6 (UPI) -- Sacha Kljestan had a goal and an assist Saturday night to lead Chivas USA past Real Salt Lake 3-1.

Kljestan, the captain of the U.S. Olympic team, scored in the 32nd minute, and then got an assist on Atiba Harris' game-winning score in the 55th minute. Defender Francisco Mendoza had two assists -- half as many as he had all last season.

Alecko Eskandarian wrapped up the scoring for Chivas in stoppage time.

Kenny Deuchar scored in the 57th minute for Real Salt Lake.
