The trio finished regulation with totals of 18-under-par 266.

In the fourth round, Howell shot 7-under 64, Forsyth 5-under 66. Bourdy, who began the round with a four-stroke lead, shot 1-under 70.

Bourdy held at least a share of the lead after three of the four rounds.

In the playoff, Howell's par putt turned left near the cup and Bourdy then sank a 3-footer to win the event.

"It was so difficult in the first nine holes," Bourdy told the BBC about his start Sunday. "(But) I was focused on my game and am so happy to win."

Miles Tunnicliff (66) finished alone in fourth place at 17-under 267 and Spain's Fernandez-Castano (66) was fifth at 16-under 268.
