MLB: Baltimore 6, Seattle 4

BALTIMORE, April 5 (UPI) -- Luke Scott was 3-for-3 with two RBI and a run scored Saturday when the Baltimore Orioles beat the Seattle Mariners 6-4.

Melvin Mora also had three hits and a run scored for the Orioles.

Matt Albers (1-0) got the win, pitching 1 2/3 innings of scoreless relief for the Orioles, who have won their last three games. Adam Loewen started for Baltimore and gave up four runs on four hits with three walks in 4 2/3 innings.

Jose Vidro and Jose Lopez each hit two-run homers for the Mariners, who have lost three of their last four games. Losing pitcher Miguel Batista (0-1) allowed five runs on seven hits in five innings.
