Arbitrators rule against Orioles pitcher Bergesen

BRIDGEVIEW, Ill., April 3 (UPI) -- Polish striker Tomasz Frankowski scored twice Thursday and the Chicago Fire recorded all its goals in the first half to blank New England 4-0.
Cuauhtemoc Blanco and Chad Barrett also scored for the Fire.
After getting only a late goal in a 1-1 tie with Salt Lake City to open the season, Chicago needed just four minutes to deliver against New England.
Barrett scored on a one-timer from 10 yards out off a pass from Justin Mapp.
Chicago played with a man advantage for most of the game after New England midfielder Jeff Larentowicz was given a questionable red card for a dangerous tackle.
