COL BKB (W): Marquette 86, Colorado 72

BOULDER, Colo., April 3 (UPI) -- Krystal Ellis led the way with 27 points Wednesday, boosting Marquette into the title game of the women's NIT with an 86-72 triumph over Colorado.

Marquette will play Michigan State in the championship game Saturday, the second time in three years the Golden Eagles have reached the title contest in this event.

Janelle Harris scored 13 points for Marquette (20-14), which took control early with a 17-1 run.

Colorado (19-15) was led by Jackie McFarland with 17 points.
