NHL: San Jose 5, Los Angeles 2

SAN JOSE, Calif., April 2 (UPI) -- Evgeni Nabokov was called on to face just 18 shots Tuesday and he stopped all but two in San Jose's 5-2 victory over the Los Angeles Kings.

Milan Michalek scored the game-winner in the second period. Mike Grier, Patrick Marleau, Curtis Brown and Brian Campbell also notched goals.

San Jose is 18


2 in its last 20 games, reaching a franchise-record 108 points this season. The Sharks have clinched the Pacific Division title and trails league-leading Detroit by three points.

Patrick O'Sullivan and Raitis Ivanans scored Los Angeles, and Erik Ersberg came up with 29 saves in the loss.
