NHL: Pittsburgh 4, Philadelphia 2

PITTSBURGH, April 2 (UPI) -- Two goals by Sidney Crosby Wednesday powered Pittsburgh to a 4-2 win over Philadelphia that gave the Penguins the Atlantic Division title.

It is Pittsburgh's first division crown in 10 years.

Sergei Gonchar had a goal and two assists, and Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 29 shots to get the victory.

Philadelphia, with 91 points, is in eighth place in the Eastern Conference -- one point behind Boston. The Bruins missed a chance to open some ground ahead of the Flyers when they lost to New Jersey in a shootout Wednesday.

The Flyers remained one point ahead of idle Washington for the final playoff spot in the conference.
