CHARLOTTE, N.C., March 31 (UPI) -- Chris Bosh had 32 points and eight rebounds Monday, helping the Toronto Raptors post a 104-100 victory over the Charlotte Bobcats.
Anthony Parker scored 20 points, and Rasho Nesterovic had 14 points and 11 rebounds for the Raptors, who won for the third time in their last four games.
Toronto (38-36) moved to within a half-game of Washington -- which played later Monday at Utah -- for the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference playoff race. The Raptors extended their lead over seventh-seeded and idle Philadelphia to 1 1/2 games.
Jason Richardson scored 26 points to lead Charlotte, which had a three-game win streak ended.
Emeka Okafor added 18 points, 12 rebounds and four blocked shots for the Bobcats, who held a five-point halftime lead but scored only 10 third-quarter points.
