MEMPHIS, March 31 (UPI) -- Josh Smith scored 26 points as part of a strong all-around game Monday that paced the Atlanta Hawks to a 116-99 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies.

Smith also contributed eight rebounds, six assists and three steals.

Joe Johnson and Al Horford each scored 19 points to help Atlanta extended its lead for the final playoff berth in the Eastern Conference to three games over the New Jersey Nets. Mike Bibby had 17 points and seven assists in the Hawks' fourth straight victory.

Rudy Gay led Memphis with 29 point,s and Kyle Lowry and Juan Carlos Navarro came off the bench to score 17 points each.
