COL BKB: Massachusetts 81, Syracuse 77

SYRACUSE, N.Y., March 26 (UPI) -- Ricky Harris scored 23 points Tuesday, sparking second-seeded Massachusetts to an 81-77 win over top-seeded Syracuse in the NIT quarterfinals.

Etienne Brower added 19 points for UMass (24-10), while Dante Milligan and Luke Bonner tallied 13 points apiece for the Minutemen.

Arinze Onuaku had 20 points and eight rebounds to lead Syracuse (21-14). Donte Greene had 18 points and nine rebounds in the losing effort.
