ST. LOUIS, March 25 (UPI) -- Johan Franzen's third-period power-play goal Tuesday gave the Detroit Red Wings a 2-1 road victory over the St. Louis Blues.

Henrik Zetterberg also scored for Detroit, which has won four straight. The Red Wings have already won the Central Division crown and are closing in on both the top seed in the Western Conference and their third Presidents' Trophy in the last four seasons as the team with the best record in the regular season.

Detroit goaltender Chris Osgood made 17 saves.

Andy McDonald scored the only goal for the Blues. Manny Legace stopped 30 shots in the loss.
