NBA: Denver 120, Memphis 106

MEMPHIS, March 24 (UPI) -- J.R. Smith, Allen Iverson and Carmelo Anthony combined for 76 points Monday to generate the Denver Nuggets' 120-106 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies.

Smith finished with 27 points, while Iverson had 26 and Anthony 23. Kenyon Martin added 14 points and 10 rebounds for Denver.

Denver was one game behind Golden State in the Western Conference playoff race with the Warriors hosting a later game against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Rudy Gay scored 30 points and Hakim Warrick 29 for the Grizzlies, who scored 57 points in the first half to take a six-point halftime lead.
