Johnny Tapia, boxing champ, dead at 45

SUNRISE, Fla., March 23 (UPI) -- Nathan Horton scored twice Saturday when the Florida Panthers beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 4-2.
Horton's 24th goal this season, at 7:28 of the second period, broke a 1-1 tie. His 25th went into an empty net with just over two minutes left in the third.
Jay Bouwmeester had a goal and an assist. Olli Jokinen also scored and Tomas Vokoun stopped 35 of 37 shots for the Panthers, who have won eight of their last nine games.
Their seven-game winning streak ended with a 2-1 overtime loss to Carolina Thursday.
Tampa Bay got a goal and an assist from Mathieu Darche. Junior Lessard also scored, and Mike Smith was beaten three times on 25 shots for the Lightning, who suffered their third straight loss.
