Tommie Harris' wife dies

CHICAGO, March 23 (UPI) -- A goal by Patrick Kane 1:09 into overtime Sunday gave the Chicago Blackhawks a 4-3 victory over the St. Louis Blues.
Kane got his stick on a puck that richocheted off a Blues' player and fired a wrist shot past St. Louis goalie Hannu Toivonen.
James Wisniewski, Adam Burish and Dustin Byfuglien notched the other goals for the Hawks, who have won three of five games and are within four points of the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
Lee Stempniak, D.J. King and Keith Tkachuk scored for St. Louis, which has lost 14 of its last 16 games.
Nikolai Khabibulin recorded 26 saves for Chicago. Toivonen had 27.
