RIO GRANDE, Puerto Rico, March 23 (UPI) -- Greg Kraft shot a 2-under-par 70 Sunday to win the inaugural Puerto Rico Open -- his first official title on the PGA Tour.

Kraft finished at 14-under 274, a shot ahead of Jerry Kelly and Bo Van Pelt, who had led after three rounds. Kelly closed with a 70 and Van Pelt with a 72.

Briny Baird and Kevin Stadler shared fourth place, another stroke back.

Kraft had previously won the 1993 Deposit Guaranty Golf Classic, but it was played at the same time as the Masters and did not count as an official tour victory.
