DENVER, March 22 (UPI) -- Drew Neitzel scored 21 points and Kalin Lucas 19 Saturday to lead Michigan State to a 65-54 win over Pittsburgh in second-round NCAA Tournament play.

Goran Suton scored 14 points for the fifth-seeded Spartans (27-8), who will play next Friday in Houston against either top-seeded Memphis or Mississippi State -- who meet Sunday -- in the South regional semifinals.

Levance Fields had 19 points for the fourth-seeded Panthers (27-10), who went into the game on a six-game winning streak.

The Spartans beat Temple in the first round and moved into the Sweet 16 for the seventh time in their last eight trips to the NCAA Tournament.
