Otto leads by five at Madeira Islands

SANTA CRUZ, MADEIRA, Portugal, March 22 (UPI) -- Hennie Otto shot his third straight 5-under 67 Saturday to widen his lead to five shots after three rounds of the Madeira Islands Open.

Otto, who will go for his first European Tour win Sunday, was at 15-under-par 201, which tied the 54-hole scoring record.

The second round was completed earlier Saturday. The round was delayed over two hours Friday by high wind. Otto led by four when the second round was completed.

Alastair Forsyth had a 6-under 66 to move into second place at 206. Gary Clark posted a 64 to jump from a share of 19th into third at 207.

Michael Lorenzo-Vera (69) and Fredrik Widmark (70) share fourth place at 208.
