ANAHEIM, Calif., March 22 (UPI) -- Brook Lopez had 30 points, including the winning basket with 1.3 seconds left in overtime, and Stanford beat Marquette 82-81 Saturday in the NCAA Tournament.

Mitch Johnson took an inbounds pass with 9.2 seconds left and fed the ball to Lopez who threw up a leaner that rolled around the rim and fell through the hoop to put Stanford up by one. Johnson then stole Marquette's inbounds attempt and dribbled out the clock to advance the Cardinal to the Sweet 16.

Robin Lopez added 18 points and nine rebounds for the Cardinal (28-7), who will face the winner of Sunday's game between Texas and Miami-Florida Friday in Houston.

Jerel McNeal had 30 points and eight rebounds for Marquette (25-10), which beat Kentucky in the first round.
