SAN ANTONIO, March 21 (UPI) -- A 21-point, 13-rebound effort from Tim Duncan Friday lifted the San Antonio Spurs to a 102-89 victory over Sacramento.

After losing four in a row, San Antonio has won two straight to move within a game of New Orleans for the top spot in the Southwest Division.

Tony Parker added 19 points, Jacque Vaughn had 11 and Bruce Bowen 10 for the Spurs, who pulled away late after letting a seven-point halftime advantage slip away.

Sacramento, winner of its previous two games, was led by 23 points from Ron Artest.

The game was tied five minutes deep in the third period before Parker made a three-pointer and Manu Ginobili scored a quick five points. That run helped give the Spurs a 71-63 lead going into the fourth period.

Seven unanswered points boosted San Antonio's cushion to 88-75 with seven minutes to play.
