Seattle owned a one-point lead with three minutes to play in the third quarter, but the Suns then scored the last seven points of the period and the first five of the fourth to take charge.

Steve Nash added 23 points and Raja Bell had 20 for the Suns, whose streak has moved them within a half game of the Los Angeles Lakers for first place in the Pacific Division.

Shaquille O'Neal, coming off one of his best games since being obtained in a trade with Miami, settled for nine points and eight rebounds. He scored 16 against Portland earlier in the week.

Seattle was led by Jeff Green with 19 points. It was the SuperSonics' ninth straight loss.
