VANCOUVER, British Columbia, March 18 (UPI) -- Henrik Sedin's two goals and Roberto Luongo's 25 saves were a 1-2 punch that allowed the Vancouver Canucks to knock out the Phoenix Coyotes 3-1 Monday.

Taylor Pyatt got the Canucks' other goal. Daniel Sedin, Sami Salo and Kevin Bieksa each notched two assists as Vancouver won its second straight.

Vancouver's 84 points puts it in a three-way tie with Calgary and Colorado for the sixth, seventh and eighth spots in the Western Conference. The Canucks are just two points behind Minnesota for first place in the Northwest Division.

Phoenix got its lone goal from Daniel Carcillo. Ilya Bryzgalov made 25 saves for the Coyotes, who have dropped their past two. Phoenix sits seven points out of the final playoff spot in the West.
