COLUMBUS, Ohio, March 18 (UPI) -- Fredrik Norrena made 18 saves Tuesday in his first shutout this season and fourth of his career to backstop Columbus' 3-0 victory over Calgary.
Rick Nash had a goal and two assists, and Manny Malhotra scored twice for the Blue Jackets, who have won three of their last four games. Dan Fritsche had two assists.
Miikka Kiprusoff allowed three goals on 38 shots for the Flames, who have lost three of their last four games.
Columbus goaltender Pascal Leclaire missed the game with a head injury after he was hit up high with a shot during warm-ups of Sunday's 4-3 victory over Detroit. Dan LaCosta was recalled from Syracuse of the American Hockey League to serve as the backup.
