
SALT LAKE CITY, March 18 (UPI) -- Deron Williams and Kyle Korver scored 21 and 17 points respectively Monday, guiding the Utah Jazz past Toronto 96-79 for their 19th straight win.
Utah tied its franchise record for consecutive wins in a single season first set during the 1989-90 season and then equaled in 1996. The Jazz had 20 consecutive victories over a two-season stretch from the 1997-1998 season into the 1998-1999 campaign.
Carlos Boozer had 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Jazz. Jazz forward Mehmet Okur left the game in the first quarter with stomach problems. He scored just one point and missed his only field goal attempt.
Jose Calderon led Toronto with 16 points and seven assists, and Rasho Nesterovic added 13 points and 12 rebounds.
