Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
MINNEAPOLIS, March 17 (UPI) -- Al Jefferson had 22 points and 14 rebounds Monday while leading the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 99-90 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.
Ryan Gomes added 19 points and Rashad McCants 16 points and six assists for the Timberwolves. Marko Jaric had 10 rebounds.
Corey Maggette scored 34 points for the Clippers, who have lost four in a row and six of their last seven games. Tim Thomas added 22 points.
