NHL: Edmonton 2, San Jose 1 (SO)

SAN JOSE, Calif., March 16 (UPI) -- Fernando Pisani's shootout goal Sunday gave Edmonton a 2-1 victory that ended the San Jose Sharks' 11-game winning streak.

Pisani scored on a backhand shot in the fourth round of the shootout, directing the puck between the pads of San Jose goaltender Evgeni Nabokov.

Dwayne Roloson had 48 saves for the Oilers, who got their other goal on a slapshot by Ales Hemsky in the second period.

Patrick Marleau was credited with the Sharks goal after the puck ricocheted off his left skate into the net on a power-play in the first period.
