LOS ANGELES, March 14 (UPI) -- Nikola Koprivica made four late free throws Thursday to ensure Washington State's 75-70 win over Oregon in the Pac-10 Tournament quarterfinals.

The 21st-ranked Cougars were led by Derrick Low with 18 points and Taylor Rochestie with 16.

Washington State (24-7) let most of a 20-point lead get away before holding on down the stretch.

Malik Hairston and Tajuan Porter each had 20 points for Oregon (18-13). Porter hit a three-pointer to bring the Ducks within four points with 90 seconds remaining, but they came no closer.

Washington State had lost to Oregon 13 straight times entering this season, but defeated the Ducks in all three of their meetings during the 2007-08 campaign.
