COL BKB: Stanford 75, Arizona 64

LOS ANGELES, March 14 (UPI) -- A 24-point effort by Brook Lopez Thursday pushed Stanford into the semifinals of the Pac-10 Tournament with a 75-64 victory over Arizona.

The 11th-ranked Cardinals will meet Washington State in one semifinal on Friday while UCLA will take on USC in the other.

Arizona battled Stanford to a 35-35 tie at halftime and the game was still deadlocked with 12:17 remaining. Stanford then went on an eight-point run and the Wildcats could not recover.

Robin Lopez added 14 points for Stanford (25-6).

Arizona (19-14) was paced by Jerryd Bayless with 20 points and Jordan Hill with 16.
