ATLANTA, March 14 (UPI) -- Arkansas got four of five free throws in the final minute Friday and beat No. 17 Vanderbilt 81-75 in an SEC Tournament quarterfinal in Atlanta.

Sonny Weems and Patrick Beverly both sank one free throw and Gary Ervin made two with three seconds left.

The winners led 40-36 at the break and were tied twice in a tense and tightly played second half.

Ervin and Darian Townes scored 18 points each.

Reserve Charles Thomas had 13 points and six rebounds, while Beverly and Stefan Welsh both scored 11 for the Razorbacks (21-10), who likely came off the bubble in hopes of earning an NCAA Tournament berth on Sunday.

Alex Gordon led Vandy with 22 points.

A.J. Ogilvy and Shan Foster both scored 14, and Jermaine Beal had 12 points and three assists for the Commodores (26-7), who also lost to the Razorbacks 78-73 in Fayetteville on March 1 in a regular season SEC West tilt.
