Tommie Harris' wife dies

MIAMI, March 12 (UPI) -- Jamal Crawford helped New York build a 14-point lead in the fourth quarter Wednesday and the Knicks fought off Miami 91-88.
New York halted a seven-game losing streak and handed Miami its sixth loss in a row. The Heat fell to 11-52 for the season, the worst record in the NBA.
Crawford scored 23 points and Zach Randolph had 19 for the Knicks. Miami was led by Ricky Davis with 27.
The Heat announced Wednesday that Dwyane Wade, who is out for the rest of the season, had undergone shock wave therapy on his left knee. He will be limited to light exercise for 30 days.
