
ORLANDO, Fla., March 10 (UPI) -- Hedo Turkoglu's triple-double -- 23 points, 13 assists and 10 rebounds -- and a record-tying first half Monday keyed Orlando's 123-112 win over Atlanta.
Turkoglu tallied 17 of his 23 points in the opening half and Dwight Howard had 19 of his 26 points in the first 24 minutes. The 74-point outburst matched the Magic franchise record for most points in the first half of a game.
Howard hauled in 16 rebounds for Orlando, which has won seven of its last nine games.
Rashard Lewis added 22 points and Keith Bogans 19 for the Magic.
Joe Johnson had 27 points and 11 assists for the Hawks, who entered Monday one-half game in front of New Jersey for the final post-season spot in the Eastern Conference. Mike Bibby had 23 points and Josh Smith and Salim Stoudamire 16 points each.
Smith also had 12 rebounds as Atlanta dropped to 7-25 on the road this season.
