MIAMI, March 10 (UPI) -- Cuttino Mobley scored 29 points Monday, including the go-ahead free throws in the final seconds, fueling the LA Clippers' 99-98 road win over the Miami Heat.
The Heat learned Monday they will be without star guard Dwyane Wade for the remainder of the season. Wade is out because of a left knee that was surgically repaired in the off-season. The team announced Wade will undergo shock therapy treatment, a non-surgical procedure, this week and will then be limited to passive exercise for 30 days.
Al Thornton had 22 points and 10 rebounds for the Clippers, who won for just the second time in their last 10 games. Corey Maggette also scored 22 points for the Clippers.
Ricky Davis scored 27 points for the Heat, losers of five straight and 32 of their last 35 games. Daequan Cook added 23 points, and Shawn Marion had 17 points and 17 rebounds.
