NHL: Detroit 4, Nashville 3

DETROIT, March 9 (UPI) -- Johan Franzen scored twice Sunday for the Detroit Red Wings, who built a four-goal lead and held off Nashville for a 4-3 victory.

Franzen's goals came on power-plays in the first and second periods. Brad Stuart and Jim Hudler also scored for the Wings, who have won three in a row.

Detroit goalie Dominik Hasek blocked 20 shots.

Martin Erat, Shea Weber and Jordin Tootoo scored for the Predators, who got 33 saves from goaltender Chris Mason.
