COL BKB: Purdue 72, Michigan 58

ANN ARBOR, Mich., March 9 (UPI) -- E'Twaun Moore and Keaton Grant scored 17 points apiece Sunday to lead 15th-ranked Purdue to a 72-58 win over Michigan.

The winners found themselves facing a 31-29 deficit at the break and were down 36-31 with 17:58 left before making a comeback. They finally went ahead 51-50 on Grant's three-pointer with 7:41 remaining and continued to pour it on until the end.

Robbie Hummel had 11 points and three rebounds, while Moore and Grant also had four rebounds for the Boilermakers (24-7, 15-3 Big Ten), who ended the regular season with three wins in their last four games.

Because No. 17 Indiana lost 68-64 in overtime at Penn State, Purdue will be the No. 2 seed this week at the Big Ten Tournament in Indianapolis.

Michigan was led by DeShawn Sims' 19 points and six rebounds. Ekpe Udoh had 13 points, nine rebounds and six assists and Manny Harris scored 10 for the Wolverines (9-21, 5-13), who have lost three straight.
