
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa., March 9 (UPI) -- David Jackson's 13 points with a career-high 10 rebounds Sunday helped Penn State upset 17th-ranked Indiana 68-64 in overtime.
PSU trailed 58-55 when the 6-foot-6 freshman from Farrell, Pa., completed a three-point play to tie the score with 22.9 seconds left in regulation.
In the overtime, he followed a missed shot with a layup to give Penn State a 63-61 edge with 1:51 left, and with 22 seconds left Talor Battle sank two free throws to push the lead to 66-61 and the winners were home free.
Jeff Brooks scored a career-high 12 points with six rebounds, and Battle added 10 points, six rebounds and five assists for the Nittany Lions (15-15, 7-11 Big Ten), who ended the regular season by winning three of their last four games.
IU got a game-high 26 points and five rebounds from Eric Gordon.
D.J. White had 20 points and 12 rebounds for the Hoosiers (25-6, 14-4), who have lost two of three.
