STORRS, Conn., March 9 (UPI) -- Stanley Robinson scored 18 points and Hasheem Thabeet tallied 15 and blocked eight shots for No. 14 Connecticut Sunday in a 96-51 whipping of Cincinnati.

The margin of victory was the largest in Big East history.

Craig Austrie added 14 points and Jeff Adrien 13 for UConn (24-7, 13-5 Big East).

Thabeet's blocks gave him 94, breaking Alonzo Mourning's record for blocks in conference games in one season.

Deonta Vaughn and Rashad Bishop each scored nine points for the Bearcats (13-17, 8-10).

The game had been scheduled for Saturday but was postponed a day because severe weather in Ohio prevented the Cincinnati team from traveling.
