NBA: Cleveland 103, Indiana 95

CLEVELAND, March 8 (UPI) -- LeBron James scored a game-high 38 points Saturday and the Cleveland Cavaliers topped the Indiana Pacers 103-95.

Cleveland led 34-17 after one period and 51-37 at the half. That advantage dwindled to 81-74 on Ronald Murray's jumper with 7:58 left in the fourth, but James drilled a pair of three-pointers down the stretch.

Anderson Varejao followed James with a double-double -- 15 points and 16 rebounds. Delonte West had 14 points and six assists.

Joe Smith had 12 points and eight rebounds and Wally Szczerbiak scored 11 points for the Cavaliers, who have won four of their last five games and swept Indiana 4-0 this season.

Indiana got 19 points and five rebounds from Danny Granger. Troy Murphy had 17 points and seven rebounds.

Marquis Daniels also scored 17 while Mike Dunleavy had 11 points, three rebounds and three assists for the Pacers, who have dropped three in a row overall and seven straight at Cleveland.
