COL BKB: Wisconsin 65, Northwestern 52

EVANSTON, Ill., March 8 (UPI) -- Brian Butch had 20 points and 14 rebounds Saturday to help No. 8 Wisconsin take the regular-season Big Ten title with a 65-52 win over Northwestern.

Jason Bohannon added 15 points and Marcus Landry 12 for the Badgers (26-4, 16-2 Big Ten), who claimed the top seed for next week's Big Ten Tournament in Indianapolis. Wisconsin heads into the post-season with seven straight victories.

Kevin Coble led Northwestern (8-21, 1-17) with 17 points and Michael Thompson scored 13 for the Wildcats, who have lost three straight and 10 of their last 11 games.
