COL BKB: Wash. St. 76, Washington 73 (2OT)

PULLMAN, Wash., March 8 (UPI) -- Kyle Weaver scored 20 points Saturday to lead the 22nd-ranked Washington State Cougars to a 76-73 double-overtime victory over the Washington Huskies.

Taylor Rochestie had 16 points for the Cougars (23-7, 11-7 Pac-10), who have won seven consecutive games over their in-state rivals. Robbie Cowgill had 10 points and eight rebounds.

Jon Brockman had 17 points and 11 rebounds for the Huskies (16-15, 7-11), who have lost three of their last four games. Ryan Appleby scored 16 and made four three-pointers.

Quincy Pondexter scored 12 points for the Huskies before fouling out with under a minute left in regulation.
