NHL: Edmonton 2, Columbus 1 (OT)

COLUMBUS, Ohio, March 7 (UPI) -- Andrew Cogliano's overtime goal Friday gave the Edmonton Oilers a 2-1 victory over Columbus, which had tied the game in the last second of regulation play.

Cogliano scored 1:53 into the extra session.

Fernando Pisani got the other goal for the Oilers, who have won five of their last six games.

Dan Fritsche scored for the Blue Jackets with 0.8 seconds left in the third period, sending the contest into overtime.

Mathieu blocked 30 shots for the Oilers.
