NBA: Boston 116, Chicago 93

BOSTON, March 7 (UPI) -- Paul Pierce scored 22 points Friday to lead six players in double digits in Boston's 116-93 rout of the Chicago Bulls -- the Celtics' seventh straight win.

Boston coasted after building a 32-20 lead after the first period which grew to 63-43 at the half. Boston led the contest by 26 points on several occasions.

Both Kevin Garnett and Rajon Rondo scored 16 points. Kendrick Perkins had 14 points and 11 rebounds. Leon Powe scored 10.

Garnett also had eight rebounds, while Rondo added three rebounds and four assists for the Celtics, who have won 10 in a row at home.

Chicago got 20 points and four assists from Ben Gordon. Larry Hughes had 16 points, three assists and five steals.

Luol Deng scored 13, Chris Duhon 11, and Joakim Noah added 10 points and seven rebounds for the Bulls, who had a two game win streak snapped and have yet to win three straight games this season.
