
VANCOUVER, British Columbia, March 1 (UPI) -- Jason Chimera scored 67 seconds into overtime Friday, completing a Columbus comeback and giving the Blue Jackets a 3-2 win over Vancouver.
Columbus faced a 2-0 deficit going into the third period, but Andrew Murray and Rick Nash scored 70 seconds apart to tie it. It was Nash's 34th goal of the season.
The Blue Jackets, three points out of a playoff spot, won for the third time in four games.
Vancouver lost its second straight after putting together a season-best four-game winning streak.
Ryan Shannon scored in the opening period for Vancouver and Sami Salo made it 2-0 midway through the second. But Roberto Luongo could not hold the lead while the Blue Jackets' Pascal Leclaire got the win with 21 saves.
