HOUSTON, Feb. 29 (UPI) -- Tracy McGrady scored 25 points Friday in carrying the Houston Rockets to their 14th consecutive victory, 116-95 over Memphis.

The Rockets' winning streak, the longest in the NBA this season, continued on without center Yao Ming, who will miss the rest of the campaign with a foot stress fracture.

Luis Scola, Luther Head and Carl Landry all scored 15 for Houston, which is one victory away from equaling the longest win streak in franchise history. The Rockets won the first 15 games of the 1993-94 season.

Javaris Crittenton scored a career-best 22 points for Memphis, which has lost seven in a row and 14 out of 16.

Houston made it easy by scoring 23 of the game's first 25 points. The Rockets led by 20 after one period and by 19 at halftime. Houston blocked 13 shots, a season high.
