INDIANAPOLIS, Feb. 28 (UPI) -- Indianapolis police said they arrested a man wanted in Memphis on first-degree murder charges outside the home of Indiana Pacers forward Shawne Williams.
Sgt. Paul Thompson of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said Gary Ian Bohannon, 20, was arrested Wednesday after leaving Williams' home on the Northeast side of the city, The Indianapolis Star reported Thursday.
A police report said Bohannon was arrested while driving a truck registered in Williams' name.
Bohannon was taken Wednesday to the Marion County Arrestee Processing Center. The Star said no details about the charges against him were immediately available.
Police said Williams and Bohannon were previously arrested together Sept. 11, 2007. Williams was charged and convicted of misdemeanor driving without a license, while Bohannon -- who was using the assumed identity Roosevelt Rollins at the time of his arrest -- was found guilty of marijuana possession.
